Help Is Here: Financial Assistance for CT Veterans and Their Families
Military service asks a lot. When times get tough afterward, The American Legion Soldiers’, Sailors’ and Marine Fund is here to help Connecticut veterans and their families get back on solid ground — no Legion membership required.
What’s covered:
- Food, apparel, and basic care and relief
- Rent, mortgage interest, and utility payments
- Medical expenses, supplies, and equipment
- Emergent dental care (veterans only) — exams, x-rays, cleanings, and necessary treatments
- Audiological exams and hearing aids
- Limited funeral expense assistance
Who qualifies:
CT resident veterans (or their surviving spouses) who were honorably separated, served 90 days active duty during a statutory wartime period, and can demonstrate financial need within income guidelines.
If you or someone you love served, help is just a phone call away.
